Mist in,
clean air out.
Oil mist is captured at the source - the machine enclosure - and filtered air is returned to the shop floor. One correctly sized unit per machine, running whenever the spindle runs.
Three ways to clean the air
Pick by what your machine throws: coolant mist, neat oil and smoke, or welding fumes.

Oil Mist Collectors
Centrifugal filtration for CNC machining oil mist. Machine-top, stand or ducted installation.

Electrostatic Precipitators
Electrostatic cells for heavy machining fumes and fine particulate, up to 4,000 m³/h.

Fume Extractors
Portable and mobile welding fume extractors with 360° flexible arms and activated carbon.
Sized to your machine
Capture, filter, return
Capture at source
The unit connects directly to the machine enclosure, so mist is taken before it spreads across the floor.
Multi-stage filtration
Centrifugal separation and high-efficiency filter stages remove oil particles down to sub-micron sizes.
Clean air returns
Filtered air is returned to the shop floor - no ducting outside, no make-up air load on the building.

Where Cleanmist collectors work
Straight answers
What is a mist collector and why does a machine shop need one?
Machining with coolant or cutting oil throws fine mist and smoke into shop air. A mist collector draws that air from the machine enclosure at source, filters it and returns clean air to the shop. The result is a cleaner floor, a safer work environment and healthier operators.
How do I choose between the CM series and the ESP series?
Use the CM series (CM600, CM1100, CM1500, CM2000) for oil and emulsion coolant mist. Use the ESP electrostatic series (ESP1000, ESP2000, ESP4000) for neat (straight) cutting oil, grinding smoke, EDM, welding smoke and oil quench, where the particles are sub-micron.
What filtration efficiency do Cleanmist collectors deliver?
The CM series is rated for 99% filtration efficiency. The ESP series is rated for 99% collection efficiency on oil mist and fine smoke particulate down to sub-micron sizes.
Do the ESP units need replacement filters?
The ESP collecting cells are washed with detergent and reused, so in standard configuration there is no disposable media to buy, stock or dispose of. A washable metal-mesh pre-filter catches swarf and larger droplets. The optional HEPA after-filter stage is a separate replaceable filter.
How is the CM series filtered?
Three stages in cassettes: stage 1 wire mesh for dust and small chips, stage 2 reticulated foam (100 mm, 20 PPI, G3 grade), stage 3 reticulated foam (30 mm, 40 PPI polyether, G3 grade). Cassettes are designed for easy maintenance.
Which machines can I fit a Cleanmist collector on?
Turning centres, machining centres, surface and cylindrical grinding, industrial saws, EDM, parts washing and food processing. ESP units also suit welding smoke and oil quench.
What power supply is needed?
CM units run on 230 V single phase. ESP units run on 220-240 V, 1 phase, 50/60 Hz, with a lockable control panel. No special wiring is needed.
How do I get a recommendation for my machines?
Send your machine list on WhatsApp: machine type, enclosure size and the fluid you use (emulsion or neat oil). We will suggest the model and quantity.
Does Cleanmist work with machine tool OEMs?
Yes. The CM series is designed for machine tool OEMs: compact, simple construction that is easy to install and manage. Write to us for OEM supply discussions.
